Baltic Control® Certification is currently seeking new members for our Impartiality Committee, with a specific focus on experts and stakeholders from the aquaculture and seafood industries.

The Committee plays a vital role in safeguarding impartiality across our certification, verification, and inspection activities, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17021-1, and under the oversight of our accreditors DANAK and ANAB.

Ideal profiles
We welcome professionals and institutions representing:
• aquaculture or fisheries producers, processors, or exporters,
• NGOs or sustainability experts (e.g., GLOBALG.A.P., ASC, MSC),
• research institutes or universities (marine sciences, aquaculture, food/feed safety),
• consumer or trade associations.

Relevant experience may include: fisheries, aquaculture, food and feed production, supply chain control, quality and sustainability certification.

What we offer in Return:
• real influence on ethical and impartial certification practices,
• international networking opportunities in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) sector,
• Certificate of Committee Membership,
• access to anonymized Baltic Control® insights and sector statistics,
• recognition and visibility within a global certification body,
• minimal time commitment – only one (virtual) meeting per year is required,
• for universities and research institutes: possibility to cooperate on internships for students and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

If you’re passionate about integrity in the seafood, aquaculture, or food production sectors and want to contribute your voice, we’d love to hear from you.
