Baltic Control® Certification recognised by the German Environment Agency (UBA) for RFNBO Certification

Baltic Control® Certification has been officially recognised by the German Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt - UBA) as a certification body for RFNBO.

RFNBO (Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin) is becoming an increasingly important part of the future energy sector, supporting the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and accelerating the transition toward cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions.

This recognition allows Baltic Control® Certification to support not only companies operating in Germany, but also organisations supplying renewable fuels to the German market and required to comply with German sustainability regulations and certification requirements.

As demand for renewable fuels and sustainable energy solutions continues to grow across Europe, reliable certification and compliance processes are becoming essential for market access and regulatory alignment.

With this new recognition, Baltic Control® Certification strengthens its position within the renewable energy and sustainability sector and expands its ability to support clients operating in the RFNBO supply chain.

Baltic Control® Certification specializes in sustainability certification of companies in the energy sector.The prerequisite for such a sustainability certificate is that a company is subject to a legal requirement for documentation that affects all parts of the value chain. For example, you must document that your production does not harm or damage natural areas.
