Baltic Academy is an independent department at Baltic Control® Certification that works within the areas of development, consultancy and education. In particular, we focus on the areas of animal welfare, sustainability, certification and standards.


Development

  • Development of audit protocols and checklists
  • Development and support of the BCC self-monitoring schemes for quality assurance of audits

 

Consultancy

  • Advise scheme owners on development and adjustments of standards, for example on how to interpret research findings, increase the robustness of the standard or inclusion of animal-based measurements

 

Education

  • Courses for consultants supporting the primary producers
