The KZR INiG system is a global certification system owned by INiG-PIB. The KZR INiG system is approved by the European Commission, and it demonstrates compliance with sustainable development criteria outlined in EU Directive 2018/2001. This approval places KZR INiG on the European Commission's list of recognized certification systems under Voluntary schemes. The KZR INiG system aligns with the requirements of Directive 2018/2001 promoting the use of energy from renewable sources (RED II).

The KZR INiG certification covers the entire supply chain, from place of origin, through biomass processors, biofuel producers, fuel suppliers and onwards to heat, electricity, cooling producers, as well as those utilizing waste or alternative fuels. It attests adherence to EU regulatory requirements concerning biomass, biofuels and bioliquids. Moreover, it caters to generating installations participating in the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS).

Obtaining the KZR INiG certificate enables your company to operate globally. Certificates issued within the KZR INiG system are recognized by other voluntary systems like SURE, ISCC and REDcert.
