Baltic Control® Certification is accredited to carry out certification within the German QS system. We offer the independent control within the German quality system (QS) carried out by professionally qualified auditors who are regularly trained and controlled by the German standard. The training ensures users a safe and consistently performed certification. It also ensures that anyone authorized to perform these tasks is updated on all important parameters of the system, such as legal requirements, animal welfare, health and traceability. The system is based on a comprehensive monitoring program consisting of:

  • Self-checking of those approved under the standard
  • The independent control of a certification body
  • QS's own random control, which ensures consistent compliance with the requirements of the standard

The system is structured according to a risk-based model in the sense that an approval can be obtained for up to 3 years if you have a production practice that fully meets the requirements.

Baltic Control® Certification can offer QS certification within:

  • Pig production
  • Animal transportation

It is possible to become part of the QS system within agriculture through a QS coordinator. Please contact cert@balticcontrol.com or call +45 39 39 01 35
