The product standard England Pigs is a quality concept that consists of specific requirements to the production of pigs exported to England.

The product standard English Pigs is a supplement to the requirements of the DANISH product standard. This mens when producing English Pigs, both the requirements of the DANISH product standard and the English Pigs product standard must be met!

Baltic Control® Certification has checked approx. 1,000 England Pigs farms annually since 1 January 2009.

A farm wishing to participate and deliver England Pigs will be subject to one annual visit by experienced auditors from Baltic Control® Certification to maintain the required standard. The certification includes, in particular, animal welfare, food safety and traceability in primary production.
