Updated Important information about coronavirus (COVID-19):

Baltic Control® Certification of course still supports the Danish Government and Danish Health Authoritys efforts to limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), which is why our office staff from time to time work from home to prevent local outbreaks to spread. We are of course alway reachable on mail and telephones.

Audits on the other hand have to take place on the farms. To protect both farm owners, employees and our auditors from Covid-19 infection we stick to the guidelines which have turned out to work well during the springtime lockdown, although we have made a few changes in the rules due to the updated situation.

BEFORE AUDIT:
A) If persons present during the audit are infected with Covid-19 or have symptoms of Covid-19 audit cannot take place.

B) If persons present during the audit might be infected with Covid-19 due to fysical contact to an infected person or a person with symptoms of Covid-19 we strongly recommend that all persons present during audit wear face maskes adn keep a minimum of 2m distance.

The farm/herd responsible person is urged to contact the BCC auditor (mobile no. is shown in the letter of visit) or contact the BCC office on tel. +45 70 27 06 09 as soon as possible and state whether there will be persons present during the audit who represents either above mentioned A or B. We will set a new audit date if there is a need to postpone scheduled audit based on the risk of coronavirus.

Of course, the above also applies if the auditor should be quarantined.

DURING AUDIT:
The auditor does still not shake hands or has fysical contact to others participating in the audit.

The general increased attention to hygiene contiues.

On suspicion of infection we encurage all audit paticipants to wear a face mask and handle their face masks according to the Danish Health Authoritys instructions. Please click here for link to Danish Health Authoritys how-to guide.

Please also keep fysical distance of minimum 1 m. In special situation minimum 2 m distance.

We continue to carry out audits with as little physical contact as possible. Therefore, there may be parts of the audit that will take place using Skype / Facetime / mobile cameras.

We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in attempt to prevent Covid-19 infection from spreading.

These guidelines will be updated on an ongoing basis in accordance with the guidelines of the Danish Health Authority.
